I discovered Wish Garden Herbs a few months ago and ordered some herbal tinctures to try. I was very impressed and then communicated with them requesting a few more to try in exchange for my honest review. At that time I received Sleepy Nights and Kick-Ass Immune Support which I have now used for their indications.
We have only had one round with the immune support but it worked. My middle daughter began with early cold symptoms and we started giving the immune support twice/day along with my homemade elderberry syrup and the symptoms fled. It was clear by 2 days out that she was not going to get a cold this round. I am definitely keeping this on hand.
I have used Sleepy Nights with success. The active ingredients are Passionflower aerials, Scullcap aerials, and Hops strobiles. They do not use valerian or kava which I am glad of.
I have also purchased a number of their tinctures that are geared toward women- Wombkind for deep hormone support, PMS Emotional Rescue , Cramp Relief, and most recently Wise Changes, for midlife changes. I have to say all of these tinctures worked and worked quickly. Within 1 dose my daughter or myself (whoever was taking it) found that we noticed a positive difference.
All bottles are in 1, 2, and 4 oz sizes and recommended dosages are 2-4 droppersful in water, 2-3 x/day. I am finding that for my family so far 1-2 x/day of 2 droppers is sufficient to make the difference. So start with the smallest dose and see what you need to get the results you are looking for. These tinctures are very effective and you may find the smallest dose will do the job.
Wish Garden only uses tinctures and they explain why on their website. Liquids absorb very quickly and so much better than pills so the results are very quick. I can vouch for that as I have seen that work with both my daughter and myself when we use the tinctures.
There is also a section just for children with many of their formulas designed for kids’ bodies. These formulas are not as strong and the recommendations for usage are less. They even give indications for infants when the product is okay to use. Since the founder of the company is a master herbalist I feel comfortable with her recommendations.
Who is Wish Garden Herbs? In their own words….”WishGarden Herbal Remedies is an independent, woman-owned, family-run, community-conscious business devoted to helping people achieve health and balance through the use of natural medicinal botanicals, oils, salves, and teas. Our corporate headquarters, as well as the customer service center and distribution facility, is located in Louisville, Colorado.”
The only negatives that I can see is the taste is not great because they are made with alcohol. I understand that for a good tincture you need to use alcohol, or they will not preserve well. So that is going to be a negative with any tinctures you might buy and I appreciate the explanation of why they use tinctures. The only other negative is the cost but if you watch this company offers a number of sales and once you know what you like you can buy the 4 oz sizes in things you use and in the end you can save quite a bit of money. From what I have experienced these tinctures are worth every penny they cost.
So I can heartily recommend this company and will be using them myself for many years to come.
