Kiss Me Organics Dandelion Tea Review

When you think of dandelions most of us think of the yellow flowers in our yard, one of the early signs of spring. (A very welcome sight this year.)

Dandelion root tea has been used throughout history for its medicinal as well as dietary properties. Today dandelion root tea is used as a caffeine-free alternative to coffee, to improve digestion and even to lower cholesterol levels. The health benefits associated with drinking raw dandelion root tea are plentiful. Whether you need more vitamins—such as A, C, B-complex, D or K—or you simply want to regulate your blood pressure or blood sugar, adding a cup or two to your day can go a long way.

Dandelion root tea does not always have the best taste so Kiss Me Organics has added hibiscus and  cinnamon to improve the taste so it is pleasing. In my house we found the tea still had a slight medicinal taste to it, but it was definitely palatable and I am sure it was a great improvement over plain dandelion.

We found the dandelion tea was very helpful for PMS and pre-menestrual bloating. It helped to reduce the bloating and discomfort  of that time of the month. That was the most beneficial and obvious benefit.
